I can work from any photo as long as I can see the face.
It's best if I have a front and a side shot but not necessary.
You have two options.
The least expensive option is to get a 9"W x 12"H watercolor on acid fee poster paper. They are on sale for $25.00 down from $35.00 and they are ready to be framed. In person they take from 10 to 20 min. Working form a photo allows me to spend more time on them. You can have these scanned and printed on canvas, framed or stretched in various sizes. I recommend calling Gerri at Put It On Canvas and my clients get a 10% discount.
To get started, click the PayPal button below and EMAIL your photos to me.
The second option is an acrylic painting on canvas up to 24 inches for $200.00. A larger canvas will be more. Paintings can take up to two weeks to complete. To get started click the PayPal button below and send $100.00 for deposit. Then EMAIL your photos to me.

CUBIST EVENTS
Add a unique, entertaining and fun time to your next party or event. Not your ordinary quick street portrait, this is a cubist portrait or "Picasso Style Portrait". In just fifteen minuets, a full color cubist style portrait can be drawn for your guest. Up to four guests an hour that will leave your party with a frame ready treasure they can keep for a lifetime. They are not realistic portraits; they are fun and colorful. However, they still seem to capture the person’s personality with just a few representational items. It may be the hair or the clothes or eyes that nails it.
Your guest will fight to be next in line so I found it is best to provide numbers and have a timer. They are drawn on high quality, acid free, smooth poster paper. I use watercolor markers that have a special brush tip so they dry fast. I roll them up with a rubber band so they travel home safely. This allows me to quickly create the portrait for your guest.
So, if you want something completely different for your event, you can't beat this.
If you would like to schedule me for your next event, please EMAIL me.

Cubism was a 20th century avant-garde art movement, pioneered by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, that revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired related movements in music and literature. The first branch of cubism, known as "Analytic Cubism", was both radical and influential as a short but highly significant art movement between 1907 and 1911 in France. In its second phase, Synthetic Cubism, (using synthetic materials in the art) the movement spread and remained vital until around 1919, when the Surrealist movement gained popularity.
In cubist artworks, objects are broken up, analyzed, and re-assembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in a greater context. Often the surfaces intersect at seemingly random angles, removing a coherent sense of depth. The background and object planes interpenetrate one another to create the shallow ambiguous space, one of cubism's distinct characteristics.
